Retractable Belt Posts
Q-Line retractable barrier posts are a top quality stainless steel queue stanchion that we are now making available as a cheap alternative to other retractable belt barriers on the market. They are perfect for organising lines, queues or to section off an area of your floor space to restrict public access. They feature a tough retractable belt made of woven nylon and a weighted base that makes them very difficult to topple.
Our retractable queue poles come in three finishes: Polished stainless steel, which looks exactly like chrome; brushed stainless steel and powder coated matte black. The fact that our stantions are stainless steel means that they won’t rust, bubble or flack as chrome plated steel often does. The belt is simply extended form the top of the queue post and attached to the next stanchion. The retractable belt is 1.8 metres in length and has a locking device on the plastic end, so that once you have attached the belt to the next belt barrier post, members of the public cannot tamper with or remove the barrier.
Large numbers of our Q-Line retractable stanchions can be combined to create complex queue systems for airports, banks, amusement parks, conferences, trade shows or exhibitions. But crowd control barriers like these also very effective when used in smaller numbers in venues such as restaurants, retail stores or corporate receptions and offices.
For your crowd management or queue control efforts to be truly effective it is a good idea to add some directional or instructional signage to your retractable barriers. Signs such as “Please queue here” or “Please wait to be seated” or “Register Closed” can be a great way to direct crowds as to what you require them to do. To this end all our Q-Line retractable barrier posts can be fitted with a double sided sign frame that simply slides onto the top of the crowd barrier post.
